Security Deposit Returns

Prior to your move-out, our team will conduct a walkthrough to assess the condition of your room.

Your security deposit less any damages assessed will be returned to you via check within 14-60 days of your lease end date, depending on city and home. Please note that if you fail to leave your keys behind, this cost will also be deducted from your security deposit.

Before moving out, you will receive an offboarding email which will instruct you to fill out your forwarding address in your Entrata Resident Portal. If you have not yet provided your return information, please complete the following steps as soon as possible:

• Log into the Connect App and click "Payments" on the left-hand side menu.

  • Once in your Billing portal, click the "Refund Account" tab and then "Add Refund Account" to add your ACH information. This is the fastest and most secure way to receive your security deposit refund.

• Click "Settings" on the left-hand side menu, and then click Personal Information. Click the pencil tool to edit your information and enter your forwarding address where it says Alternate Mailing Address. Be sure to include the full address, including zip code. This ensures we can return your security deposit via check in case the bank associated with your home does not allow for ACH returns.
